WYSA sponsors scholarships for three graduating seniors per year, recognizing those who have participated in Walpole Youth Soccer programs and have given back to the youth soccer community. The application for both scholarships can be found at the bottom of the page, with submission details included.
Robert and Irene Ellis Memorial Scholarship
Each year, the Walpole Youth Soccer Association sponsors the Robert and Irene Ellis Memorial Scholarship for two graduating high school seniors (one male and one female) who participated in the youth soccer program and are continuing their education beyond high school. Each scholarship is worth $500. To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Be a graduating senior
- Be a resident of Walpole
- Have participated in the Walpole Youth Soccer program
- Have given back to the youth soccer community
- Be continuing her/his education after high school.
Caroleen Midura Rosen Memorial Scholarship
Each year, the Walpole Youth Soccer Association sponsors the Caroleen Midura Rosen Memorial Scholarship for one graduating high school senior (female) who participated in the youth soccer program and is continuing her education beyond high school. To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Be a graduating senior of Walpole High School
- Be a resident of Walpole
- Have participated in the Walpole Youth Soccer program for many years
- Have participated in Walpole High School soccer
- Be continuing her education by pursuing a Bachelor's degree
- Have a demonstrated financial need
