Fall 2022 Season Information

Grade K-2 In-Town Program will begin on Saturday, September 10th and run through November 5th at Mylod Fields.

  • Grade 1:  11 am - 12 pm
  • Kindergarten: 1 pm - 2 pm
  • Grade 2:  3 pm - 4 pm

Please note that these programs are large and parking is tight. Please make sure not to arrive too early for your session, and to exit as soon as the event is over to make room for the next group.

Weeknight clinics for Grade 1 and 2 players will be held on the grass fields at the South Walpole Community Athletic Complex. Specific days and times TBD as we await final permit and availability of our professional coaching partners.

Grade 3 Limited Travel program will begin on Saturday, September 10th and run through November 5th. Schedule will be released closer to the season.

  • Girls games generally played in the mornings
  • Boys games generally played in the afternoons
  • Specific times and locations vary depending on the week and the opponent
  • Teams will generally practice 2x per week, based on each team's coaches' respective availability. Families will hear about practices directly from coaches.

Grade 4-8 BAYS Travel program will begin on Saturday, September 10th and run through November 5th. Schedule will be released closer to the season.

Spring 2022 Registration

Registration for the Spring 2022 soccer season is now CLOSED FOR ALL AGE GROUPS

  • Please note that every player needs to register separately for Fall and Spring seasons. 
  • If you have current players in the system, you will need to register them for Spring soccer. Your Fall 2021 registration will NOT carry over into the Spring 2022 season.
  • Kindly note each age group's respective deadlines. Players (including returning players) will NOT be guaranteed a place on a roster if they have not registered prior to the deadline. 
  • Removing players from the waiting list is entirely up to the discretion of our age group coordinators based on team quantities, sizes and composition after accounting for all players who timely registered.

BAYS Travel Soccer Program (Grades 4-8) - Registration is CLOSED

  • Registration for players in Grades 4-8 will close on December 31st.
  • BAYS Spring season begins Saturday, April 9th and ends Saturday, June 11th
  • Games WILL be scheduled on Memorial Day weekend
  • Girls games are generally in the morning, Boys games are generally in the afternoon

  • Spring season begins Saturday, April 9th and ends Saturday, June 11th
  • Games WILL be scheduled on Memorial Day weekend

Grades K-2 In-Town Program - Registration is CLOSED

  • Registration for players in Grades K-2 will close on February 28th
  • In-Town program will run on Saturday afternoons from April 2nd through June 11th - exact schedule is posted on our Programs page.
  • Our In-Town program will NOT be held on Memorial Day weekend
  • Midweek clinics will also be offered to Grade 1 & 2 players - exact schedule TBD

High School Registration is CLOSED

  • Registration for players in Grades 9-12 will close on February 28th

MYSA COVID-19 Protocols - Fall 2021

Please see the following September 1st, 2021 update from Mass Youth Soccer regarding the conditions for play for Fall of 2021. We strongly encourage you to familiarize yourself with the guidelines and restrictions that apply to each stage of Massachusetts phased reopening from the COVID-19 pandemic. While comprehensive, the guidelines will evolve as circumstances change, so please check back regularly.

MYSA 09/01/21 COVID-19 Protocols

WYSA In-Town Soccer - Fall 2021

Kindergarten and 1st and 2nd Grade players will play on Saturday afternoons at Mylod (09/11 - 11/13), and Grades 1 and 2 players will also have midweek skills clinics on Wednesday evenings at the South Walpole Community Athletic Complex.

The In-Town program consists of skills clinics (supervised by professional coaches), followed by small-sided games. 1st grade girls and boys will play from 12:30pm - 1:30pm, Kindergarten girls and boys from 2:00pm - 3:00pm, and 2nd grade girls and boys from 3:30pm - 4:30pm.

Each week, your player should bring his or her:

  1. Shirt
  2. Cleats
  3. Shin pads
  4. Size 3 ball (K players receive a ball Week 1, G1 - G2 players bring their own ball)
  5. Re-useable water bottle
  6. Weather-appropriate clothing

Please check the website each week before heading to the fields for weather or field updates. Volunteer (parent) coaches are always welcome and asked to arrive 30 mins early each week. They will be provided an itinerary and demonstration by one of our professional coaches, who will remain throughout the entire session to step in and assist. No playing experience is necessary to be a successful volunteer coach. You will also enjoy a significant discount for future player registration.

WYSA College Scholarships - Spring 2022

Robert and Irene Ellis Memorial Scholarship

Each year, the Walpole Youth Soccer Association sponsors the Robert and Irene Ellis Memorial Scholarship for two graduating high school seniors (male and female) who participated in the youth soccer program and are continuing their education beyond high school. Each scholarship is worth $500. To be eligible, the applicant must:

  • Be a graduating senior
  • Be a resident of Walpole
  • Have participated in the Walpole Youth Soccer program
  • Have given back to the youth soccer community
  • Be continuing her/his education after high school.

Caroleen Midura Rosen Memorial Scholarship

Each year, the Walpole Youth Soccer Association sponsors the Caroleen Midura Rosen Memorial Scholarship for one graduating high school senior (female) who participated in the youth soccer program and is continuing her education beyond high school. To be eligible, the applicant must:

  • Be a graduating senior of Walpole High School
  • Be a resident of Walpole
  • Have participated in the Walpole Youth Soccer program for many years
  • Have participated in Walpole High School soccer
  • Be continuing her education by pursuing a Bachelor's degree
  • Have a demonstrated financial need
