Fall 2024 Registration Now Open for All Age Groups

The registration portal can be found on our website under the "Players" menu and the waitlist deadlines for each age group are listed below.  The deadlines below correspond to the grades the players will be in starting in the Fall.  The only way to guarantee a spot on a team is to register before the waitlist deadline so don't delay.  We've implemented a new player commitment policy for 3rd thru 8th graders (i.e. it's in the "Players" menu) and ask that you make sure your child can meet the requirements before registering him/her.

Effective for the fall 2024 season, WYSA is discontinuing the practice of building teams in 1st-3rd grade based on school because it has become too difficult to manage.  WYSA will make sure that each player has at least one other player from their school on their team but they will have more kids from other schools on their team than in the past.  This policy change also brings WYSA more in-line with the other town sports and is a great opportunity for them to make new friends.  The teams for Kindergarten will continue in the current format which is school based.

- 4th-8th Grade: 6/15

- K-3rd Grade: 7/15

Tryouts for the Fall 2024 Season

We will be holding tryouts for all players currently in 3rd-7th grade for team placements for the Fall 2024 season.  The schedule is detailed below and the grades correspond to the grade each player is currently in today (i.e., not what they will be in the fall).  All tryouts will be held at the Mylod fields and we did our best to avoid conflicts with other local organizations but it's impossible to avoid all the conflicts.  Please pay close attention to the time that corresponds to your player(s) because there's not a pattern to the times due to the conflicts.  Tryouts are required for consideration to be on a select team and strongly encouraged for all players.  Please reach out to either the girls or boys travel directors if you have any questions.

New this year is a callback session for 3rd grade because of the number of players in this grade and we're still working on setting a date.

The tryouts are drop-off only for all the groups (i.e., no spectators allowed) and we'll open the facility 10 minutes before the session ends.

Please register your child before tryouts begin because this helps us better prepare for the tryouts.  The registration portal can be found on the website under "Players"->"Registration".

WYSA/Seacoast United Summer 2024 Soccer Camps

WYSA will be offering two summer camps in partnership with Seacoast United again this summer (see registration link below). The camps will be offered for K-8th graders from June 24th-27th (i.e., 28th is a weather-related make-up day) and August 5th-8th (i.e., 9th is a weather-related make-up day).  Each session goes from 9am to 1pm and the camps are run by the Seacoast professional coaches.  The cost is $180 per player per week and use the link below to register for the camps.

Additionally, each day there will be an optional 1hr goalkeeper training session during the 9am-1pm block (i.e., they'll miss an hour of the field player training each day) that's included in this registration at no extra charge.  Just let the Seacoast coaches know during the first day check-in process and they'll take it from there.  We prefer the goalkeeper participants to be limited to those that are committed to playing goalkeeper for at least a portion of the games during the upcoming season.

The WYSA/Seacoast camps were excellent last summer and it should be a great opportunity to get in some summer training.
