- Deadline for a coach making a guest player request is six days in advance of a game. I.e., the Sunday before the next weekend’s game.
- Guest player process must be completed by EOD Wednesday night before the weekend of the game, at the latest. We will not review requests made after this date. The deadline to cancel a game; should the guest player not help a team’s situation; is Thursday by 7PM.
- Players may only play up a division, players may not play down.
- Grades 4-6 may only request guest players up to 1 available sub. Grades 7/8 may request guest players up to 2 available subs.
- A maximum of 4 guest players per game is allowed.
- Coaches must reach out to the travel directors for their gender/age group to start the process and be given the proper guest players. Coaches and teams will not be searching for guest players on their own. [email protected] and [email protected].
- During game day, coaches must print out two guest player rosters, in addition to the regular rosters, which will be sent to them by Allison Miles and given to the game day referee. *Important – BAYS needs two rosters from each individual team guest players come from. i.e., If there are two guest players playing from two different teams, there will be 4 additional rosters to the 2 game day rosters.
- The coach using guest players must write the BAYS game ID for that game on all the submitted rosters for that specific game.
- Finally, if a WYSA coach suspects that there is an ineligible guest player on the opposing team, they are to play the game in its entirety and then reach out to the WYSA travel directors. Should the WYSA travel directors agree, the club will then reach out to the BAYS division directors to sort out.
