Players in Grade 3 participate in the Limited Travel soccer program, consisting of team practices, and games against opponents in neighboring towns, as well as other Walpole teams.  The teams are coached by parent-volunteer coaches, and we encourage you to consider volunteering.

Games are played at varying times and locations on Saturdays typically following the BAYS calendar. Girls games are generally played in the mornings, boys games are generally played in the afternoons.

Games will be refereed with a modified ruleset, prioritizing players' development and enjoyment of the game. The referees may be equally inexperienced as the players, and the intent is to facilitate an educational environment for all parties. Questions regarding the specific rules may be directed to the Referee Coordinator. While the program does not report to the league, the BAYS Zero Tolerance Policy still applies.

Please check the website each week for weather / field updates before heading to the fields. Coaches will provide parents with a team schedule prior to the start of the season.

Players in Grades 4-8 participate in the BAYS Travel soccer program consisting of team practices and league games. Games will include opponents in other BAYS towns, which may vary in distance.  The teams are coached by parent-volunteer coaches, and we encourage you to consider volunteering.

Games are played at varying times and locations on Saturdays typically following the BAYS calendar. Girls games are generally played in the mornings, boys games are generally played in the afternoons.

WYSA typically offers travel teams based on ability for each age group. The teams are created for the fall season based on evaluations from tryouts, coaches, and the Director of Coaching and generally, remain intact for the following spring season as well.  Minor adjustments are typically made between the fall and spring season (e.g., often driven by changes in registrations between the two seasons) and those adjustments are made based on evaluations from the coaches and Director of Coaching (i.e., there usually aren't tryouts between the fall and spring seasons). More information regarding the tryout process can be found via the https://walpolesoccer.org/tryouts page.

Please check the website each week for weather / field updates before heading to the fields. Coaches will provide parents with a practice schedule prior to the start of the season. Game schedules can be accessed via the Teams page.

**WYSA does not offer any non-travel programs for players in Grades 4-8.
